According to the teachings of this Islamic movement, the Imam:
- is the link between the God and people;
- is a guide that informs mankind about all kinds of science.
It is said that the way to knowledge in this world is always open, because a believing Master has been sent to the world. The Imam's knowledge is natural and supernatural. They can give people as much religious knowledge as they consider important. It is impossible to achieve effective knowledge without the help of the Imam.
