Philosophers note that Tusi, like other Eastern Aristotelians, was ideologically inclined to both materialism and idealism.
It is believed that the thinker, by hesitating in the midst of this dual position, in fact tended to both, but did not propagate any current consistently and unequivocally. Tusi commented on the idea that form or matter was the first in terms of time, and commented on this topic from a dialectical point of view.
