It is noted that in the school of Confucius:
- the time of teaching and the content of the lessons were not regulated;
- standard lectures were not given;
- students' knowledge was not checked;
- education and training were mainly heuristic (heuristics is from the Latin word "to open" and is a research or training method that involves discovering the truth through appropriate auxiliary questions);
- in general, the teaching process took place in the process of free conversation.
