Human and economy
The Russian philosopher of XIX-XX centuries Nikolai
Aleksandrovich Berdyayev’s approach to economy calls high attention.
The philosopher approaches to economy in public
relation system as following: “The economy cannot create the new human. Economy
is not the target of the life; this is one of the tools of living. The
degradation of economy begins, when economy has accepted as a target of the
life.”[1]
From this approach we see that, the author looks to
economic relations as an upper element of public relation system. The main
point is that, he considers economic relations as subsidiary for the last one.
By origin, this is a significant example for approach
to economy under the high human values (that we may call as ethics). Thus, the
economic relation system, of which economic behaviors - as its basic motive
power should define its shape under moral and ethical frame.
From the author’s point of view, otherwise, it will
result to degradation of humanity. By other word, the economic behaviors and
its entity is aid or barrier for humanity and its actual targets, the third
case doesn’t exist.
How as, the French philosopher of XIX-XX centuries Jan
Jores wrote about economy: “There is a unity in human: everybody is in unity
with his economic environment. Which is it is impossible to distinguish his
economic life from his moral life. It is impossible to separate the existence
of human to two part – ideal life and economic life.”[2]
Summarizing of these approaches about economy and its
relations, we may say that, the economic relations that the humanity
participates pursuits his moral (non-economical) relation system. Naturally,
these inseparable elements may have healthy synergy only under certain humane
norms, frames and ethics. Otherwise, they mutually destroy each other and by
this way generally will result to degradation of humanity.
