18-th topic. Friedrich List’s economic ideas

One of the scientists that, had given new ideological approach to economic theory in XIX century was Friedrich List (1789-1846) - one of the notable ideologist of German bourgeoisie, the author of the work of “National system of political economy”.

We may note followings as main elements of his economic ideas:

§  Because of, the economies of different countries develops by their own objective lows, absence of single political economy for all countries;

§  Necessity of finding national political economic system for every country;

§  Ideas about Germany, that this country will achieve the level of the first industrial country by the way of industrial development and development of productive forces, also this country will have colonies in the wide geography.

From the one hand, List’s ideas are topical in the modern era for developing countries that effort to avoid from the weak economic system, also strengthening political independence.

At the same time, the idea about absence of single political economy for the global economic system shows the extreme sides of the List’s concepts.

However, finally F.List could compose the development concept of the German economic system by strengthening its ideological bases. Again, this shows the great ideological need of economy as a one component of social relation’s system.

Some materials were used from the book of “The history of economic studies” published under  editing by M.Meybullayev
