Aristotle was one of the first thinkers who denied the sophists. His work of "Refutation of sophists" is one of the most famous works written against the sophizm. Aristotle believes that the Sophists:
- use the plurality of words to extend the polemics unnecessarily;
- intentionally use long and incomprehensible sentences to confuse rival;
- try to make difficult for opponents by excite them.
