A84.2

Beauty does not appear only in triumph of the true over the false, triumph of the good over the bad, triumph of the power over the powerlessness, or triumph of the morality over the materiality. Beauty also manifests itself in the victory of true loyalty to the lie over the false loyality to the truth, or in the victory of bad inclined to the good over the good inclined to the bad. The open lie in the face of mute truth, the sincere roughness in the face of surface politeness is the hidden board of beauty. This beauty is the beauty of the truth, usually though painful. This is the beauty of the perfect harmony, from the hills to the nails, the beauty of the blameless creation.
