At the heart of Socrates' philosophy is a man who can rise above materialism. It is stated here that a philosopher can observe himself by freeing his soul from his body.
It follows that man has the power to unite away from materialism into a whole, a divine unit of which he is a part. In this case, man has the power to understand everything.
According to the philosopher, in thought - only there does a person become aware of truths from a real being.
