As is well known, peripatetic thinkers, who played an important role in both Eastern and Western philosophical worlds, supported the metaphysics of the ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle. Nasreddin Tusi's views are also considered to belong to this philosophical worldview.

According to the philosopher, the whole universe is divided into two parts:

- the existence of which is necessary;

- the existence of which is possible.
