It is noted that Confucius was critical of his age. The philosopher has preferred the centuries that were put forward on the topic of spiritual growth and spirituality. It is on the basis of such comparisons that Confucius formed the perfect ideal of his tsyun-tzu man.
One must reconcile these qualities with the spiritual laws of the Dao. The goal of this spiritual advancement is to reach the greatness of a good person (tzyun-tszi).
