Scope of thinking

If thinking is a trigger for behavior, then correctly understanding of thinking issues is the headline of this theoretical problem.

One of the important elements of the rational thinking is a scope of thinking. Directly, rational thought is a thought with broad scope. Here, broad scope is under two meanings:

Firstly, thought with broad scope is thinking or a mind that takes into accounts several and many factors.

Secondly, thought with broad scope should include other person’s utility, not only personal.

Let’s look to the problem in the following example. Assume that, the person makes choose to buy electric equipment. For that, he (she) may base to the following choose criteria:

1.    Selling price

2.    Quality

3.    Energy consumption

4.    Environmental impacts

Generally, the person may satisfy with only first factor. This will be choose with single factor and will base to personal utility only.

But taking into accounts many, even other new factors shows the broadness of thinking and in this situation choose does not base on personal utility only. For example, equipment with low environmental wastes at the same time is helpful for every member of organic world.
