Truth allows people to organize their activities intelligently. True knowledge also helps to evaluate the future. If cognition did not find the truth, human beings could not adapt to the reality and could not change it.
The way to get the truth is not smooth and straightforward. Historical experience shows that humanity has come to the truth through mistakes. Sometimes getting a truth costs hundreds of people’s poor searches and sad mistakes.
The mistakes are undesirable, but necessary labyrinth on the road to truth. Usually, you need to find a mistake in order to find the truth. Thus, mistake is a claim that is perceived as reality, but which is not true.
