The paper

defend freedom of thought and civil liberties;

and strive for the secularization of politics,
society and educational system.”

counter superstition;
§
aim to promote an open and just society;
§
endorse scientific method;
§
also recognize the importance of emotions and
imagination.”
In
economics Hargreaves Heap introduced the “theory of instrumental rationality
which equates the rational action with the choice of the means most likely to
satisfy a given set of ends”.
