Morteza Motahhari,
there are two ways for defining of perfect man in Islam:
1. To learn perfect man as described in
Islamic sources of Holy Quran and Sunnah;
2. To define perfect persons in the
real examples and learn them in the real life.
Fortunately,
in Holy Quran and Sunnah thre are comprehensive

Sunnah are informed enough about the perfect man.
At the same time, the perfect man that
introduced in Islam does not the imaginary creature that does not exist, that
is real man.
For example, Our Holy Prophet (s),
also Imam Ali are perfect man examples of Islam.
To know them, to be acquainted about the
model of perfect man in Islam.
The difference between “perfect” and “entire”
For Motahhari, these concepts should not
be considered the same.
The concept of “perfect” refers to
the vertical direction,
but the concept of “entire” to the horizontal direction.
“Entire”
is, all elements that are necessary for its existance are exist.
Here, creature
at its peak in the horizontal direction.
But, “perfect”
is, all elements of “entire” are in the high degree.
Here, creature
at its peak in the vertical direction.
