“Islamic economics is not shy of using current
methods of scientific enquiry because they are the result of centuries of
intellectual effort and so constitute a part of a common human heritage.”
In so doing, Muslim scholars should realize that they
are not influenced by some of conventional economic theories which contradict
to Islamic teachings.
