The Muslims should spend their money for specific
purposes only such
as for:
o living
o education
o health
o helping the
poor and the needy
o and for
spreading the message of Islam.
Apart from that the Muslims is obliged to spend
their money in the way of Allah for instance paying zakat and going to
pilgrims.
There are several Quranic verses and Hadith that
emphasis the important of spend in the way of Allah by promise of good reward
in this life and hereafter such as:
“the parable of those who spend their substance in
the way of Allah is that of a grain of corn, it groweth seven ears and each ear
hath a hundred grains. Allah giveth manifold increase to whom He pleaseth: And
Allah careth for all and He knoweth all things” (Holly Quran: 2:261).
