2-nd topic. The most ancient economic theories

Extension for the topic of “About history of differential approaches on theoretical foundations of economics”

The ancient economic theories based on the interpretation of role and efficiency of the main elements of economic systems of that period. The definition of these concepts is the initial stage of economics. In this period, the theoretical issues of economy were in the level of initial understanding of economic relations essence. During the starting period of systematically studying of economic relations the thinking about rationality issues was episodically and disorderly.

The history of economics shows that, in Ancient Egypt formulation of economic ideas regarded government activities on the centralized management field.

Epouser’s aphorisms (in the XIII century BC) are one of important sources in the Ancient Egypt’s economic studying history.

Ipouser learned initial transition period of society changes. He wrote that, the centralized management system – the government serves only for minority of population. He considered that, Egypt’s grain should be used for all categories of population and to achieve this, the unjust lows (different declarations, lows of court) should be abolished.

These papers give special attentions to disruption of regulated organizations. Weakening of control couse inactivity of produsers on the one hand, inactivity of accountants on the other hand. And this situation leads to the violation of people's life and social interests.

He named unemployed producers as enemies of the country. The potential producers that, don’t work, but take portion from overall production in the society lead to population rage. And finally this processes lead to protests of population against centralized government powers.

Evaluation of economic system and behaviours from the social justice point of view is the main advantare of these doctrines. Contradiction issues between institutionalized interests and sicial well-being have been described under the example of economic system.

Generally, even on the narrow minded platform, we see evaluation of economic power of  leading institutions as the cause of social inequality in the ancien Egypt’s economic doctrines. The main focus is on the social justice in these doctrines. It shows that, thinkers of that period were looking for main weaknesses of economic system on the platform of human problems and human rights.
