New Economics Institute (Boston, USA) organized for the mission to build a new economy that prioritizes the well-being of people and the planet.

This Institute has a long history of putting evolutionary ideas into practice. Their focus is on building a movement that will propel our nation to rapidly embrace the transition to a just and sustainable economy.

The plan of the Institute begins with the recognition that a tremendous number of people around the country understand that the system is broken, and that they must work to replace it with something different, something new. Many of these people have already rolled up their sleeves and gotten to work in their local communities. Many others are just waiting for the opportunity. Their plan is to bring these people together with like-minded organizations and leaders to a build a movement to propel America toward a New Economy.

The Institute is working in partnership with many University groups around North America to help build the foundation for a youth movement for a New Economy. Also, the Institute does a mapping project developed for the United Nations conference on sustainable development and designed to display a compelling vision of a green and fair economy.
