7-th topic. The ancient economic theories

Nizami Ganjavi (1141-1209) as one of the great philosophers of the world had comprehended the public contradictions in society. His views about perfect society are most expensive pearls in the history of global economic thinking.

Sheikh Nizami is a scientist that, the representatives of the different ideological schools have used his ethic lessons in different times of history. Even, some ones didn’t afraid to interpret that immortal ideas accordance with their ideological bases.

There are basic issues like human, attitude of man to man, to environment, management of society under the lows of justice and nature in Nizami’s works. Comprehensive and in-depth study of his ideas shows that, the major social, economic and political events, as well as the complex environment in which these events took place have been the main motif of his works.

N.Ganjavi had created the perfect theory about the labor and wealth. This theory shows that, the labor is main source for increasing of material and moral wealth and efficiency of labor depends on factors of labor stimulation. He proposed the ideas about employment, improvement of professional skills etc.

The great thinker presents the economic behavior, the theoretical ideas in this regard clearly under the ethics concepts. N.Ganjavi shows the individual’s economic interests and behaviors on the base of perfect human model. In the perfect human model the main social targets like social satisfaction and happiness have presented as above the individual’s social-economic needs.  Healthy ethics and fluent cognition is preferred than common sense and all economic interests. 

History shows that, despite centuries, Nizami’s ethic lessons are important “receipts” for development of economies in the XXI century.
